it may be too early to jump to conclusions, but i am going to take a leap of faith and just say it: wmij is a changed person these days. what i have done to deserve such a miracle remains unknown. perhaps she's so thrilled with my attempt at a bedtime that she no longer feels the need to complain about computer lights after 10:30pm. or maybe she's still on a high from visiting the homeland. who knows.
the confirming piece of evidence occurred after 1722 announced he could come to nyc this weekend. since there is a jew law that forbids wmij from being in the same room as a sleeping male, she had vetoed his travel plans last time. however, i strategized for hours about the loopholes to this law. also, i recruited the nomad for back-up support.
here's how it went down: i broke the news to wmij and immediately, the nomad was like, oh so im having a slumber party on friday night and its mandatory that u r there, wmij. and thennnn, the nomad offered to turn on a dvd for wmij on shabbat.
and just like that, we closed the deal. the clincher was definitely the dvd. when it comes down to it, not even wmij could turn down electricity on shabbat.
so far, wmij is surprisingly fine with 1722's arrival. her only caveat: she MUST be able to get her pajamas for the slumber party before he falls asleep. i agreed, but honestly, what is she going to do if he falls asleep... sleep naked? probs wouldnt be the first time.
so in the end, the nomad saved the day.
i almost like the new and improved wmij... how scary is that.

this isnt the first time ive heard the story of wmij's transformation...but im still shocked! you should find out what caused the new wmij so she'll stay this way the whole semester. and wait i just realized...no electricity, so no video chatting?! how does she survive??
the nomad also seems to have undergone transformation, dont you think? maybe they put something into the food here..

i think it could possibly be the fact that you are making an effort and you know that thing called karma really does work..

soobs, wmij survives sabbath by videochatting ALL day Friday and then again ALL day Sunday. actually its entirely possible she didnt want to go to brunch today due to a videochatting date... also, ur right! the nomad is def improving, but she would basically have to transform into God before I would live on her floor next year.
trent, im trying to stop binging on epic all the time. as for wmij, it could also be the fact that my clothes from bikram smell sooooooo bad that she cant stay in vcc videochatting for long periods of time without collapsing of toxic fumes.
or it could be the fact she's staying over with me. u know thats why i've been awol from blogging, cause i've been preoccupied if you know what i mean. ;) thats why shes not video chatting as much. she's found a new playmate.
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww new playmate... could u not go there, le franq. out of consideration for my mental health, it'd be great if your little affair did not take place in my room.
At least it covers up the stench of your drenched bikram clothes.
