leave it to miranda to swear during easter dinner. the grandparents were bewildered, alan was embarassed, and my cousins and i laughed. meanwhile, donatello found it flat-out hilarious. of course.
in other news from this weekend, i took the lucky star bus back to school tonight. as usual, i fell asleep as soon as it left south station (which would be better identified as The Zoo since i have never seen so many people there in my life). i didnt wake up til we were leaving the rest stop in connecticut... when our bus hit a car. the car's owner was running after the bus, flailing her arms. however, the bus driver just muttered something in asian-talk (shout out to trent) and drove away... apparently the bus wasnt as damaged as the lady's volvo. this experience supports my theory that chinatown buses are extremely cheap because they save money on insurance. in other words, their buses dont actually have insurance.

lol yes typical chinatown bus protocol...avoid authorities at all costs...not just for insurance, but also mostly likely due to the legal status of the bus drivers...im not being racist its trueee - ive heard multiple stories about this.
